Privacy Policy

Information we collect
URLs you submit. When you submit a URL for screenshot capture, we store the URL and the resulting screenshots on our servers temporarily. URLs and screenshots are retained for up to 24 hours and then automatically deleted.
IP address. We record your IP address to enforce our daily rate limit (20 screenshots per IP per day) and to prevent abuse. This data is retained for 25 hours.
Session ID. We generate an anonymous session ID stored in your browser's localStorage. This ID is used to associate your screenshots with your browser session so you can view and delete your own results. It is not linked to any personal identity.
Server logs. Our infrastructure may log standard HTTP request data (timestamps, request paths, HTTP status codes, user agent strings) for monitoring and debugging purposes. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not shared.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not use any first-party cookies. The only browser storage we use is localStorage for your anonymous session ID and screenshot history.
Third-party services
MockupSnap uses the following third-party services to operate:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — Cloud infrastructure (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB). See the AWS Privacy Notice .
Data sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not share your submitted URLs or screenshots with any party other than the AWS services used to process and store them.
Children's privacy
MockupSnap is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of MockupSnap after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
